The 1st International Workshop on 5G networks and Future Internet(5GNFI2020)

The international workshop on 5G networks and beyond (5GNFI 2020) will be organized by the Faculty of engineering, Zagazig University on 16th -1 7th December, 2020. This workshop is a prestigious event, organized to provide an international platform for the academicians, researchers, managers, industrial participants and students to share their research findings with global experts. 5GNFI 2020 will be devoted to discuss new advances and techniques in 5G systems and main use cases. The workshop is addressed to experts, researchers and young scientists in the fields of communication engineering, information technology, computer science and electronics. Recent novel works in the areas of communication networks, Future Internet including IoT and Tactile Internet, Artificial Intelligence, Big data, software networks and edge computing are invited to take part in 5GNFI 2020.

Call for Papers

With the recent advances in sensory and wireless devices manufacturing, 5G systems and future Internet including Internet of Things (IoT) and Tactile Internet have attracted many researchers and market sectors. During this year, some commercial and trial versions of 5G cellular system have been released in many countries; however, the systems still need to be modified to meet the announced 3GPP requirements of 5G. Furthermore, the announced use cases such as IoT, Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), smart cities, vehicular communications and Tactile Internet are under research. Authors who interested in these fields are invited to submit full-length originally unpublished papers. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research depth, accuracy and relevance to 5GNFI2020 theme and topics. The workshop organizers reserve the right to not include a paper to the Proceedings if the workshop registration fee is not paid or if the paper is not presented on the 5GNFI 2020 workshop.

All submissions must be made on-line from the online submission system hosted by EasyChair Conference System. Email submissions will NOT be accepted. You need

to have an EasyChair account to submit your papers. If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your paper, it may be done up until the submission deadline. Use the author account you created during initial submission, to edit or resubmit. Please read the Submission Instructions before submitting your paper to the system.

The 5GNFI2020 will be published in ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). ACM ICPS is indexed in DBLP, Scopus and Thomson Reuters.
